Hi,
it may be a stupid question, but if you add a writer/reader/inspector in fme2018 to a transformer that is in a bookmark,he always puts it out of the bookmark. My model is very large and has a lot of bookmarks that run into each other so that is not so convenient. Is there a way around it?
Thx
Nathalie
Thanks@nathfor reporting this! Our team is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it (PR#82979).I'll update here when the fix is available.
Hi@nath,
I'm please to let you know the problem reported with adding readers/writers/transformers to a bookmark has been resolved! The fix is available in the latest FME 2018.1 beta (build 18449 or higher) release foundhere.
Hi Nathalie,
I don't think there is much you can do about it.My advice would be to space out your bookmarks,so you have room to add new transformers and readers/writers.I usually leave an area the size of 2-3 transformers around a bookmark, and use junctions to streamline it all and avoid long lines.A handy tip: if a transformer is only a bit within a bookmark and you double click the edge of the bookmark,it adjust to include the transformer.

Definitely not a stupid question because I was able to reproduce the same thing(?) by adding just about any transformer while inside a bookmark
Not very smooth...
