If you have a python module you need to use on FME Server which is not part of the Python standard library, you will need to get the module on the server.
For FME 2015 and newer, you can provide python modules to FME Server workspaces by uploading them to theResourcesarea of the FME Server Web User Interface.
There are two ways to do this:
1.Add the module into FME Server's python directory on your serverThis method is very easy, but requires access to the FME Server install directory on your server.
2.Upload the module to the server when publishing the workspace.If you do not have access to the FME Server install directory on the server, you can upload the module to the server using the following procedure:
If your Python script needs to access a file that you can't manually place on the server, then you can use the same process that you used for uploading a module to the server:
import fme path = fme.macroValues["FME_MF_DIR"]
file = path + "/myFile.txt"
