During the installation, a dialogue box appears informing the user that a check for sufficient disk space is being done.
Please wait while the installer finishes determining your disk space requirements.
Hitting "Return" causes the dialogue box to go away, but as soon as you hit "Next" in the installer dialogue box this "disk check" dialogue box appears again.
It seems to be a Windows Installer problem. We have found lots of articles from people who have had the same problem. In all the articles, there is no mention of why the problem occurs, or anything you can do when creating your installer that fixes the problem.
Cancel the existing installation and re-run the installer, you may have to re-boot.
Update:
In the online developer discussion boards this has been often related to conflicts between the msi installer and VMware. I constantly had this problem until I changed my VMware Authorization Service to startup type 'Manual'. I haven't had any problems since.
