Reference Mapping Rules

Reference mapping rulesspecify the construction of xfMapreference-sets, and they must be defined inside theorelements.

Referencesallow an xfMap to store values that need to be accessed later in the input stream. Allreference mapping rules,whether they’re defined under theor theelements, have the same structure. Similar togroup mapping rulesbut unlikefeature mapping rules,everyreference mapping rulewhen activated, regardless of where it was defined, triggers the XML Reader to construct a newreference-set.
