To access feature type parameters, click the gear icon
on a feature type in the workspace to open theFeature Type Parameter Editor. To always display the editor in Workbench, you can select View > Windows > Parameter Editor.
All feature types share similar General Parameters. This includes Name and Writer Name. From here, you can also controlDynamic Properties.
These parameters apply only to a selectedfeature type, not to the entire reader.
Note:If a feature type parameter corresponds to a reader-level parameter, then the reader parameter will be ignored and the feature type parameter will be used.
Constraints
These parameters are passed to the Query API endpoint of the Feature Service. For more information about these parameters, refer to thecorresponding page in the ArcGIS REST API documentation.
WHERE clause
Optionally specifies the SQL-style WHERE clause applied to object fields to limit the set of features returned. Attribute names are case-sensitive, and the types of values must match the type defined in the schema.
Input Geometry
Optionally specifies the geometry to apply as the spatial filter.
The value should be valid Esri GeoJSON, a point of the formx,y, or a bounding box of the formxmin,ymin,xmax,ymax.
Note:The coordinate system is assumed to be the same as the layer’s coordinate system, unless theInput Geometryis Esri GeoJSON and specifies its own coordinate system.
Input Geometry Type
The type of geometry specified in theInput Geometryparameter. The server will return an error if the Input Geometry is not of the specified type.
This parameter is ignored ifInput Geometryis not specified.
Options:Envelope (default), Point, Polyline, Polygon, Multipoint
Spatial Relationship
The type of spatial relationship to use with the Input Geometry.
This parameter is ignored ifInput Geometryis not specified.
Options:Intersects (default), Contains, Crosses, Envelope Intersects, Index Intersects, Overlaps, Touches, Within
Distance
The optional buffer distance for the Input Geometry. Applies to all Input Geometry types.
This parameter is ignored ifInput Geometryis not specified.
Units
The units used for the Distance parameter.
This parameter is ignored ifInput Geometryis not specified.
Options:Meters (default), Miles, Feet, Kilometers, Nautical Miles, US Nautical Miles
